Shambala kindly asks for a £5 minimum donation to attend this event.
About Shambala
Shambala is a non-profit ethical community space which offers a sanctuary where we can authentically come together for activities, events, talks, workshops, creativity, and wisdom sharing.
Where we can find real human connection, conversation, and peace through purposeful action. A place to make lasting connection, through coming together and sharing in meaningful ways and to pioneer a new culture of compassionate, respectful solidarity, where we live in harmony with one another and our environment.
Shambala is a co-creation, whose founders: Karen McCabe, Jazzalina Garcia and Veerji Hasyananda aim to bring their differing and combined experiences and expertise to help make the space a unique place in Leek and surrounding areas.

Each retreat typically includes:
- Daily Satsang Sessions with James
- Guided and silent meditation periods
- Question and answer sessions
- Personal time for reflection and integration
- Beautiful natural surroundings conducive to inner exploration
- Friendship and community with like-minded people
- Day Retreats, Weekend Retreats, Longer (Intensive) Retreats
- Option for communal meals, sleep stays on Weekend and Intensive Retreats
Whether you are new to non-dual teachings or have been exploring them for years, these retreats provide an invaluable opportunity to deepen your understanding and experience of your true nature. The schedule allows for both structured sessions and free time, typically a morning and evening session with free time in between, creating a balanced environment for both guided exploration and personal integration.
Graciously Received Feedback
Wow, what a great teacher. Helps you to help yourself.
Strong, sensitive, articulate and a great reader of the one he is listening to. Gives great clarity in helping you to see through your own self-created illusions, leaving you with clear perception, a feeling of peace, self-confidence and self-understanding.
Thank you James,
With Love and Gratitude
